TRAINING

⚡ Live Over-the-Shoulder PLC AN HMI Training

Real automation. Real jobs. No fluff.

Are you an electrician keen to break into the PLC world as an electrician?
Join live screen-share sessions as I work on real industrial automation jobs — programming, fault finding, commissioning — and learn what actually happens on-site.

"No question is a silly question."

"If you're thinking it, someone else probably is too."

"This is a no-ego, no-judgment space — ask anything."

👨‍🏭 Who’s It For?

  • Electricians wanting to get into automation who have a reasonable understanding of data types and networking

  • Electrical and Instrumentation technicians keen to get some real world exposure.

🔧 What You’ll Learn:

  • PLC basics & ladder logic, how to connect and read

  • Fault finding in live systems

  • HMI edits & troubleshooting

  • Best way to learn is watch

❗ Why I’m Doing This

Because I’m sick of working with under-skilled electricians who’ve never been shown the right way.

Too many sparkies are thrown into jobs with no real training in automation — expected to fault-find PLCs or read ladder logic with zero support. I’ve seen it slow down jobs, cause expensive delays, and frustrate good people.

I want to change that.
This training is about lifting the standard — giving sparkies the real-world knowledge they should’ve had from day one.

🔍 Why I Started This

Over the years, I’ve worked with plenty of great electricians — but too often, they’ve been let down by a lack of training in automation.

PLC systems, HMIs, and industrial fault finding are now part of the trade, but most sparkies are left to figure it out on the fly. That’s frustrating for them — and costly for businesses.

I’m offering this training to bridge that gap and help more electricians confidently step into automation and E&I roles.

🤝 What’s In It for Me?

Simple — I want to work with better sparkies.

I’m not trying to become a full-time trainer. I still run Peak Control and spend most of my time commissioning real automation systems. But too often, I find myself thinking, “This job would run smoother if the sparkies had just a bit more automation knowledge.”

So, I’m doing something about it.

By sharing what I know, I’m not just helping others — I’m building a stronger pool of people I can trust on future jobs. If you level up your skills, I might end up hiring you, recommending you, or just knowing we’ll get the job done right, together.

This is about raising the bar — and building a crew of electricians who actually get automation.

👋 About Me

I’m Izack — a licensed electrician who went on to study instrumentation and control. Breaking into the engineering world wasn’t easy, especially coming from the tools. I had to figure out a lot on my own — fault finding, PLC programming, commissioning, all while learning how the real-world systems worked.

Now, after years of hands-on experience running Peak Control and working across manufacturing and automation, I’ve realised something: it’s still hard to find sparkies with a solid grasp of automation. That’s why I’ve decided to start sharing what I’ve learned — to help other electricians step confidently into the world of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control.
